Child Safety Standards
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Flexr has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page is our published standard, as required by Google Play’s child safety standards policy.
01What is prohibited
Using Flexr for any of the following is banned without exception:
- Creating, sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material, in any form.
- Sexualising a minor in any content—including a username, display name, bio or avatar.
- Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to arrange contact with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate imagery of a minor.
- Trafficking, or any other sexual exploitation of a minor.
These rules are also part of our Terms of Service, which prohibit sexual content and anything sexualising a minor in user-provided content.
02How Flexr is built to reduce risk
There is no private messaging in Flexr. No direct messages, no chat, no group conversations, no voice or video. This is a deliberate design decision and it removes the primary channel through which grooming occurs in social apps.
The only content a user can publish is a username, display name, short bio and avatar image, all of which are public and visible to everyone. There are no private channels in which harmful contact could take place unobserved.
Location shown to other users is deliberately approximated—snapped to a coarse grid with an offset unique to each account, and distances are measured from that approximated point rather than a real position, so the map cannot be used to determine where someone actually is. Users can also switch on “Invisible on the map”, or simply never grant location permission.
Flexr is not a dating service and may not be used to solicit contact of a sexual nature.
03Reporting a concern
In the app:open any profile, tap the “…” menu, and choose Report. You can also Block an account, which immediately removes them from your leaderboards and the map, in both directions.
By email: report child safety concerns to laciel555777@gmail.com. Please include the username and what you saw. Reports of this kind are treated as urgent and prioritised above all other correspondence.
You do not need a Flexr account to email a report, and you may report anonymously.
04How we respond
Reports are reviewed by a human. Where content or an account violates these standards we will remove the content, remove the account, and retain the minimum information necessary to report the matter to the relevant authorities.
We report apparent CSAM to the appropriate authorities. As Flexr is operated from the Philippines, that includes the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group and the National Bureau of Investigation Cybercrime Division, and where appropriate the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), which accepts international reports through its CyberTipline.
We comply with the Philippine Anti-Child Pornography Act (RA 9775), the Anti-OSAEC Act (RA 11930), and applicable child safety law in the jurisdictions where Flexr is available.
05Age of use
Flexr is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has created an account, email laciel555777@gmail.com and we will delete it.
06Point of contact
The designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM prevention practices is laciel555777@gmail.com.
